Staying true to his generous spirit, Johnny’s mother donated his corneas and tissues.
On the day after his 38th birthday, Johnny was senselessly shot as he walked up the driveway of a friend’s home. Johnny had been a Code Enforcement and Mobile Assistance Officer in California. He always helped others. At the time of his death, he was caring for three young boys.
Staying true to his generous spirit, Johnny’s mother donated his corneas and tissues. She also produced a local cable TV program on violence in their community and offered solutions. Through these efforts, Johnny has touched many people’s lives long after his was taken.
